L'OFFICIEL - Street Style Editorial

By this time, fashion magazines are centering their editorials in the Fall Collections. I've seen it all, from the recurrent equestrian theme (which honestly makes me sick a little by now), to automatons loking models in studio to futuristic environments in lunar landscapes. 

I like some, others not so much ...

This L'Officiel Holland I loved it! Because deep down, the editorials are used to sell clothing in a inspirational way.  And there's nothing like the old formula pretty-girl-walking-down-the-street-dressed-beautifully. It's that girl we want to be, that's what we want to wear ...

Sometimes there's nothing more refreshing than a "Back to Basics"

Nesta altura, as revistas de moda têm centrado os seus editorias nas coleções de Outuno/Inverno. Tenho visto de tudo, desde o recorrente tema equestre (que honestamente já me enjoa um bocadinho), até modelos com ar de automatos em estúdio, passando por ambientes futurísticos em paisagens lunares. Gosto de alguns, outros nem tanto...

Este da L'Officiel Holanda, adorei! Porque no fundo, os editoriais servem para vender roupa duma maneira inspiracional. E não há nada como a velhinha formúla da menina bonita a descer a rua vestida lindamente. É ela quem nós queremos ser, é assim que nos queremos vestir...

BALMAIN Retrospective

Balmain is one of my favorites (almost the favorite) designer brand!

I love the baroque meets rockn'roll style. It's chic and rich but still irreverent! 

I imagine that's hard to get....

And one more time, when I saw this fall campaign, I fell in love. 

Nadja Bender wears Fabergé egg-inspired designs by Olivier Rousteing in a simple, domestic setting.

I loved it so much, that I decided to do a one year Balmain retrospective.

Balmain está no topo (bem no topo) das minhas marcas preferidas. 

Adoro o estilo rockn'roll-barroco da marca. É chic, é rico mas ainda assim irreverente!

Imagino que não deva ser fácil...

E mais uma vez, quando vi esta campanha Outuno/Inverno apaixonei-me.

Nadja Bender veste os designs de Olivier Rousteing, inspirados pelo ovo Fabergé num ambiente simples de uma casa.

Gostei tanto, que decidi fazer uma retrospectiva do último ano Balmain.
